OVERVIEW
Boston Whaler started its legend in 1958, when its founder Richard Fisher crafted its first twin-sponson 13ft Whaler. After testing it several times, they found it to be unsinkable, a promise that remains 57 years later with every motorboat they craft. Today we're going to explore the Boston Whaler 270 Dauntless, a flagship for this family and a versatile boat that can transition from a robust angler boat to a recreational cruiser at moment's notice!

Starting at the Bow, we can easily understand why is it so versatile. With a Bow cushion that can also be used as storage space with folding backrests; we can imagine ourselves spending an entire day fishing and resting on it. It also features an anchor locker with overboard drain and three insulated bow storage lockers/fish boxes and stainless steel gas shocks.

After the Bow we find the Helm Station, with an acrylic console access door with stainless steel and latch Acrylic windshield, its look is professional, while still offering safety and comfort. It also features a cast stainless steel steering wheel with urethane grip compass with courtesy light. Besides that, it includes an electronic mounting surface; with drink holders and a molded fiberglass console liner. It's powered by a Mercury® DTS binnacle control. In term of comfort it features a seat cushion with backrest and a stainless steel opening port light with steel grab rail.

To make sure you remain safe, it features a fire extinguisher pocket, instrumentation and electrical switch panel with circuit breaker protection. In the Starboard Side we find the door to the Head, a small but comfortable and private space with pomp-out system, a net to store your belongings and a small screen. As is normal for Boston Whaler, the seating of this boat ensures the comfort of the crew. This center-console motorboat includes a bow cushion, a forward console seat, and a forward port and starboard seats with folding backrests!

In terms of storage, this Boston Whaler 270 Dauntless includes a bow anchor locker with overboard drain, three insulated bow storage lockers or fish boxes with overboard drains and stainless steel gas shocks, a lockable console front storage – holds 5 rods, 2 5-gallon buckets (the buckets are also included), miscellaneous gear and optional dive tank racks, a lockable console storage, storage spaces in leaning post, under the aft seat and storage for safety gear including: eight life jackets, flares, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher.

Its hull material is pure fiberglass, which withstands harsh marine environments with ease, with a Deep Vee hull design, which makes it perfect for salt-water fishing because it's resistant to corrosion and rot. This Boston Whaler 270 Vantage is powered by two 300 XXL L6 DTS Mercury® Verado FourStroke engines with power steering. It has a 150 gallons fuel tank, an automatic bilge pump and three battery trays with switch and wiring.
