Princess 52

Princess is a boat builder who’s been around since 1965, surprising us with great vessels, and earning international awards. They attribute their success to two main values: quality and heritage, and they sure have both of them! Let’s explore the Princess 52 model together.

Let’s start out on the deck. There is a teak laid transom platform, cockpit deck, flybridge stairway and stairs to side decks which allow you to move from space to space easily and safely. It features a reversible electric anchor winch with foredeck, helm position and flybridge control with self-stowing 25kg/55lbs Delta anchor with 40m of chain. Of course, as most Princess models, it also includes stainless-steel cleats, fairleads, handrails and a dual station remote control searchlight.

The cockpit is a comfortable and luxurious space. It features upholstered seating with a teak table so you can decide if you want it to be a space for relaxing or a dining area.

We find a lockable gas strut assisted hatch to crew cabin and twin transom gates leading to the bathing platform with optional electro-hydraulic raise/lower mechanism. It also features a dinghy chock system and liferaft storage locker.

Next, let’s move to the Helm Station. With dual instrumentation, controls and alarm system including VHF/RT, speed and distance log, echo sounder with alarm and autopilot you’ll feel safe while cruising in this boat.

It also features twin helm seats with fore and aft adjustment for the helmsman to make sure you and your crew are comfortable at all times. It also includes full engine instrumentation with fuel gauges, exhaust temperature and engine warning system and rudder position indicator, navigation system including VHF/RT, speed and distance log, echo sounder with alarm, autopilot and high speed magnetic compass, and controls with indicator for bow thruster, windscreen wipers, bilge pump and trim tabs.

Next to the Helm Station we find the Flybridge, a space designed to offer comfort to your crew and family. In this space, we find a large upholstered seating area with a teak table and an L-shaped seat that converts into a sunbed in case you prefer it that way. Loudspeakers are linked to saloon stereo and a Wet bar including a sink, storage and an electric barbecue as an option, also a refrigerated top loading coolbox.

The Deck Saloon or Saloon features a U-shaped sofa with a dining table, two stools, and a two-seater sofa to starboard with optional TV on electric raise/lower mechanism. It also includes a stereo with MP3 player with saloon and exterior speakers, sideboard units with refrigerator and glass, bottles, and general storage. The spaces are integrated via a stainless-steel framed sliding door to the cockpit with separate a stainless-steel framed opening door aft of the galley, and an electric drop window to port (as well as at helm position).

The Galley features a 3-zone ceramic hob, a hob extractor and a waste bin for safety. A combination of microwave and conventional oven with an electric grill is included as well as a stainless-steel sink with monobloc mixer tap. This space also includes a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a chopping board, and provision space for a dishwasher and additional refrigerator.

Let’s move to the Cabin’s area. The Owner’s Stateroom features a large double bed with drawers below, a sofa, a wardrobe with shelves, a dressing table, MP3 radio, overhead and individual berth lights and an en-suite bathroom.
