A New Azimut Will Shine Bright At Dusseldorf!

The Azimut revealed its complete line-up for the 2016 Boot Dusseldorf Boat Show, which opens its doors from Friday (22). Among the boats on display will be the Azimut 77S, Atlantis 43, Azimut 50 Fly and Magellano 43, highlighting the Azimut 66 Fly, which will world premiere and has everything to be the highlight of the fair.

The Italian shipyard explained that this model is the culmination of three years of work on his flybridge range, starting with the Azimut 80 in 2013, continuing with the Azimut 50 in 2014 and more recently, the Azimut 72, which was released in Cannes Yachting Festival from last year.

This strain can be seen through bold exterior of Stefano Righini, with mirrored glass on the sides and ridges that stand out from the plumb line. Meanwhile, the interior design was the responsibility of Carlo Galeazzi, who has focused its attention on maximizing the space on board. Key features include an extended flybridge and a walk-through area in the bow.

Like its predecessors, the Azimut 66 will feature an entirely carbon fiber superstructure, which will help keep the weight down. On the lower deck are available four cabins, with three suites. The cabin owner is located amidships. The crew is staying at the stern.

Engines offered are two CAT C18s, with 1,150 hp each, which should deliver a top speed of 31 knots and a fast cruising speed of 27 knots. Prices and delivery dates of the new boat has not yet been confirmed.
