Cannes Yachting Festival 2016 is the largest in-water boat show in Europe and is forecast to animate the quays at Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto from 6-11 September 2016.
This prestigious Festival welcomes visitors from the international pleasure boating and luxury yachting sectors including exhibitors for yacht products and services, current and potential owners, brokers, boat designers and builders, and media.
After Cannes, many attendees will be heading to the Southampton Boat Show in the UK or staying around a week to enjoy the action of the R?gates Royales in the Bay of Cannes. Following that, the industry is making preparations for the Genoa Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show at the end of September.

2016 is the 39th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival which is deemed the leading European boat show.
The Festival is organised by Reed Expositions France in partnership with the F?d?ration des Industries Nautiques and is one of the largest boat shows globally.
The Festival is located at each end of La Croisette at the Vieux Port, Palais des Festivals and Port Pierre Canto.
Almost 600 boats exhibited at sea and on land. The Cannes Yachting Festival is well known for its large yachts, but also presents a variety of smaller sub-25 metre vessels that allow accessibility to the world of yachting.

VIP ticket options: VIP admission for the Festival is priced from ?132 including tax (for two people for one day). The fully-inclusive Riviera Card costs ?1045 including tax (for two people for six days) including access to the VIP entrance to the show, an exclusive guided tour on a tender, access to all yachts, a helicopter transfer, lunch, Porsche courtesy car service, VIP Club and VIP water shuttles.
VIP Concours d??l?gance: ?80. Watch the parade of the Concours d?El?gance at the VIP box on the beach and enjoy a cocktail of the award ceremony at the VIP Club at 7 pm.
Gala Dinner for 2016 World Yachts Trophies: ?264. Gala dinner, yacht parade, fireworks and dancing at the Carlton Hotel.

What to expect
Cannes Yachting Festival is hosted across Vieux Port, Palais des Festivals and Port Pierre Canto:
Vieux Port: The main exhibition area, Vieux Port, presents new models from leading international shipyards with in-water motor and sailing yachts from 10-55 metres.
The Super Yachts Extension (SYE) is home to the Show?s largest vessels with a wide range of motor and sailing yachts 25-metre+, some reaching 55 m. This is also where the free public shuttle leaves for Port Pierre Canto.
The J?tee (J?TEE) J?tee Albert Edouard, the closest quay to the Palais, hosts the world?s largest shipyards, the most famous names in luxury yachting. Engine manufacturers, a variety of service exhibitors, and some of the Festival?s partners will also be found here.
The Pantiero (PAN) presents smaller, high-end motor boats. This space displays open, sports, flybridge and sport fishing boats. You will also find insurance and service companies, the Equipment Village and marine accessories for fishing, marine optics, etc.
The Catamarans zone (CAT), presents around forty 12 to 35-metre sailing and motor catamarans exhibited in water.
Quai Saint-Pierre (QSP) presents many 12 to 25-metre craft: a wide range of large sailing and motor boats, including traditional, open, and flybridge.
Quai Max Laubeuf (QML) hosts over 160 vessels. The powerboating industry as well as the RIB Village ? home to all the inflatable and semi-rigid boats; ideal for buyers taking their first steps as boat owners ? are displayed both on land and in water.
The 2nd edition of the Concours d??l?gance: The ultimate dayboat d?file will be held on Thursday 8 September from 5 pm at Vieux Port whereby you can see the sleekest vintage and contemporary day boats under 12 metres. There is a maximum of 20 entries after which an award ceremony will be held at the VIP Club at 7 pm.
Palais des Festivals: Here, you?ll find a number of exhibitors representing shipyards, interior designers, architects, financial advisors, and other nautical service activities. Along the beach outside, are Toys and Tender zones.
Additionally, a new and exclusive partnership with Studio Harcourt will further amplify the prestige of the event. Studio Harcourt is renowned for its photography of stars including Edith Piaf, Cate Blanchett, Salvador Dali etc and Festival attendees have a unique opportunity for a make-up and photo shoot session, with their very own Harcourt Paris Portrait to take home as a souvenir. A maximum of 40 portraits will be shot during Cannes Yachting Festival (charges apply).
La Terrase: La Terrasse is exclusively reserved for luxury industry stakeholders and high-end services at this year?s event.
Ideally situated at the departure of the VIP shuttles, this new privileged area overlooks Vieux Port and its 500 yachts on one side, and the Cannes bay and Croisette on the other.
Expect to see product promotions from the automobile industry, private aviation, luxury yachts, watches, jewelry, prestigious property, gastronomy, tableware, couture houses, leather and saddles, furniture & design, art & photography, hotel, high-tech products, perfume & beauty, and premium services.
Port Pierre Canto: This location is dedicated to pre-owned yachts. Here, you?ll find international brokers will share their expertise on a range of vessels 22-50 metres for sale or charter; half of them are 30 metres+ in length. A free public shuttle leaves every 15 minutes from Vieux Port to Port Pierre Canto during the Festival (from the Super Yachts Extension). There is also a VIP shuttle for VIP cardholders that departs from La Terrasse.
2016 World Yachts Trophies: The World Yachts Trophies will take place on Saturday 10 September at 7 pm on the Carlton Hotel?s beach. Over 700 guests are expected to attend this unique night with a Gala Dinner, yacht parade, fireworks and dancing till late!
