The new M50 superyacht is getting ready for launch by the Italian yard Mondomarine, in Savona. She is designed by the Milan based studio Hot Lab and is scheduled for delivery in a few months. The hull is built out of aluminum on a semi-displacement design. She features a three deck layout, with an extensive sun deck. The Mondomarine in house team is responsible for her naval architecture while the red sporty color was selected by the owner himself.
Her exterior areas are much larger than with most yachts in her size range. As such, her designers have created large socializing areas with the available space. Access to the water also is a focus on the yacht, which offers a large fold-down swim platform and integrated stairs that uncover an aft beach club and adjacent full-beam tender garage. The M50 boasts a Jacuzzi pool on the sundeck and a beautiful Nikki Beach-style sunken seating area on the foredeck.
Guests are showered in natural sunlight and views of the horizon from each room of the M50. She offers full-height panoramic windows that run the length of the main salon and skylounge, as well as large hull-side windows in each guest cabin and master balcony. The M50 is designed to bring the outside in. Her exterior features sharp, aggressive lines combined with a sleek, curving transom to create an attractive profile along with an ergonomic function.
