Lürssen Superyacht Coral Island Got A New Name, And It's Not Boaty Mcboatface

One of the first projects to come from the late designer Jon Bannenberg?s drawing boards and iconic L?rssen superyacht Coral Island has recently been renamed Coral Ocean following a refit at the shipyard?s refit facilities, and will now be available for charter this summer season in the Mediterranean. L?rssen announced today that the yacht will also be on display at this year?s Monaco Yacht Show in September.

The yacht has been exclusively privately used and is kept in pristine condition since her launch in 1992 through a series of refits and maintenance periods over the past 2 decades. Her most recent refit saw Coral Ocean be prepared for the charter market to conform to commercial regulations and standards.

In 1994, Coral Ocean was one of the first yachts whose interior featured a gym and a spa area, and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy these amenities on board one the most exclusive yachts on the charter market today.
