The French shipyard Piriou is well-known for delivering the 77m expedition yacht ?Yersin? earlier this year.

They now have unveiled a new line of yacht support vessels during the recent edition of the Monaco Yacht Show.

The line consists of three yachts including a 40m, 53m and 63m version. All three versions have been designed to assist in the transport of superyacht tenders and landing craft, crew and supplies, and will be constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

The YSV 40 is designed as a rapid ocean-going support vessel capable of delivering crew and provisions to her mother ship in all weather conditions.

The YSV 53 is the ideal platform for yachts looking for a midsized support vessel. The 53, with her 125,000 litre fuel capacity, will make an ideal escort for large yachts looking to undertake long-distance voyages.

The YSV 63 is Piriou?s flagship support vessel, and is designed to safely carry her cargo internally, with an added top deck suited for helicopter storage. Her incredible range of 5000nm at 17 knots makes the YSV 63 able to reach any location in a short time.
