DND Yacht Design is based in Xiamen, China and recently announced the all new and incredible DND 82? motor yacht SYNOPSIS.

CharterWorld spoke to DND and asked a few questions about the new yacht, set to be built by Puccini Yachts:

What was the inspiration behind this design?

It has been a year since we have started developing this 82foot. DND Yacht Design is delighted to unveil this Project with as starting point, elegancy and vast spaces for a luxurious and ultra-comfortable environment. Her look obtains its characteristics from fabric, providing an aesthetic that charming the spaces by an harmonious treatment of the lines.

What are the main characteristics of the project?

The general deck plan of the concept has been validated first, before we could even produce the first sketch. Literally designed as an open space, you are able to walk on a perfect straight line from the platform to the fore cabin. A single staircase on the transom invites you to a huge cockpit that uses the full beam. Her hull has a very low bulwark and provides a stunning view from the salon and its full high glass clearances. This general arrangement has clearly led us to these exquisite forms.

Would this concept be suitable for a yacht charter purpose?

Two significant plans are proposed, with the first one as day to day use, more popular in China, and a second with more bedrooms for longer cruises. This vast open space, enable to customize the interior beyond expectations. The flybridge also has room for a tender or a jet ski for water entertainment activities.
