During the recent Cannes Yachting Festival, Italian yacht builder Canados presented a range of new models to its yacht line-up. One of these is a new 24-metre luxury yacht named Coliseum designed by Marco Casali.
The concept behind the design was to offer clients a wide range of high-end superyacht amenities within a manageable platform large enough to accommodate up to 10 guests. A comfortable beam of 6.62 metres means guests are presented with a generous interior area and sufficient space for outdoor amenities.
The stern area of the yacht has been divided into two areas where a tender and two Jet Skis area stowed.Inside, the master suite on main deck benefits from the extra large windows that flank each side of the cabin with an additional forward-facing view through a curved section of glass overlooking the foredeck seating area. Below deck, a further six or eight guests can be accommodated, depending on the client?s chosen layout.
As standard, the 969 will be equipped with twin 1,900 hp engines to deliver a top speed of 26 knots. Alternatively, clients can opt for a more powerful package of two 2,600 hp engines in order to reach a top speed of 30 knots.
