Dutch design studio Cor D. Rover have unveiled its latest design project for a conversion of a fast crew support vessel to be transformed into a superyacht shadow vessel or private yacht to operate on its own. The 55m fast support vessel in question was launched by Shipyard De Hoop in the Netherlands earlier this year and is now available for purchase.

The vessel is completed with state of the art navigation and communication equipment that will set her apart from similar vessels in this size range. A Navis dynamic positioning comes as standard.

The technology is carried through to below the waterline as well, with an optimised hull form fitted with HullVane not only saving fuel but reduces the ship?s motion while underway. A specially designed bulbous bow further improves its seekiping capabilities and efficiency at speed.

An advanced hybrid propulsion system is said to deliver fuel savings up to 45% compared to class competitors. For high speed operations, the two diesel engines link directly to the twin propellers for the highest power output, while a Diesel Electric mode is activated when operating in speeds below 13 knots or with dynamic positioning engaged.

The vessel?s expansive deck spaces will comfortably house a range of large day craft and performance tenders to operate as the ultimate shadow vessel.

The vessel (as is) is on offer through central agents Merle Wood & Associates for ?9,900,000.
