Kawasaki has a long history of high performance in their products.
On Thursday (25) they launched a new model: The Jet Ski Ultra 310LX / 310R, which became the most powerful jet produced in series by a company. The group's engineers increased engine efficiency generating more power supercharged, 310 HP (power measured at the crankshaft under controlled conditions ).
It is the highest power ever achieved in 40 years of history of the Jet Ski.
Delivering levels of performance and even greater accuracy, the new series of Jet Ski Ultra 310 will be represented by four models. Joining the X and LX models, there are two variations: R (sports) and a special edition model X.
Equipped with a supercharger and an intercooler, the marine engine liquid-cooled 1,498 cc four-cylinder drives models with more power than a normally aspirated engine. This is due to the use of the type TVS supercharger, which generates the same boost in low, ensuring a strong acceleration from idle. A large number of modifications have been made by reducing mechanical loss.
As in the previous model, the V hull design allows a very strong inclination in the style of a motorcycle cornering. This reduces the lateral G force imposed on the driver for the curve. With an angle of 22.5 degrees, the hull bottom shape helps prevent whirling in more sharp bends. The hull thickness was determined by detailed analysis of resistance, and it provides balance to meet the high power generated by the motor.
