Turkish boatbuilder Numarine is planning the world debut of its 60 Flybridge at Yachts Miami Beach in February.
The Numarine 60 Flybridge adds to a line that includes the Flybridge and Hardtop 70, and the 78 Evolution. Two of the 60-footers are already on the water, with a third sold and under construction. Later in 2016, Numarine plans to add a Hardtop version of the 60.
Range is up to 375 nautical miles. Top speed is 35 knots with a 28-knot cruise speed. Omer Malaz, Numarine?s owner and CEO, says the propulsion setup with Volvo Penta IPS 950 engines is key to the 60?s cruising capabilities.
?Their smaller size frees up considerable space in the engine room,? he says, ?which in turn allows us to increase fuel tank capacity, notably increasing the cruising range. Now she can be considered a real long-range cruiser.?
Numarine designer Can Yalman created the 60?s concept, lines and interiors. Umberto Tagliavini handled naval architecture, with Gurit taking on structural engineering.
Onboard accommodations: three staterooms including a full-beam owner?s suite.
