German yacht builder Blohm + Voss is known for having created some of the most unusual and daring superyachts on the water today. The 74.5-metre superyacht Enigma has undoubtedly become one of the superyacht fleet icons and manages to turn as many heads as she did in 1991 - the year when she was launched. One passionate owner now had the opportunity of owning this symbol of yachting history as Enigma has recently been listed for sale through Edmiston, available at an asking price of ?47,500,000.
Enigma?s distinctive exterior is the work of designer Martin Francis and the yacht was delivered as ECO by the German shipyard to a famous Mexican businessman as her original owner. Today she is kept in pristine condition by her professional crew and can often be seen cruising around the French and Italian Riviera?s. Fitted with triple waterjets, Enigma reaches an impressive top speed of 35 knots and can cruise at an equally impressive 19 knots.
The interior layout is unique with an entire upper deck dedicated to the owner with a private lounge and outdoor dining area on deck. Guest suites are found on main deck, providing accommodation for a group of 14 guests.
