Mohammed bin Salman bought Serene, the twelfth biggest yacht in the world to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler. The Russian commissioned the 134m Serene back in 2006 and was the 9th largest yacht when delivered in 2011. Fincantieri, the Italian Shipyard, is now being sued by the previous owner of Serene. In 2014 the yard launched Ocean Victory, the biggest yacht ever built in Italy at 140m! However it seems that Yuri Shefler believe they used some of Serene?s design, on which he owns the intellectual property. He is asking for 13.9 million over intellectual property and over 7 million for the late delivery! The London court judged in favor of the Russian billionaire, however the yard made appeal in an Italian court. An affair to follow closely!
