Luis Felipe Burigotto won the Italian design bronze award in the category "Social Design"

The tragic moment when the world is experiencing today challenged the yacht designer Luis Felipe Burigotto Rocco to create a hospital ship with the highest renewable energy capacity utilization to operate in the most difficult areas of the world . Considering that billions of people living in coastal areas, a hospital ship with this capability is the fastest and economical way to reach these areas.

Measuring 180 meters and 12 floors the Blue Frontiers ship was designed to have large area of ??solar panels with wind turbines on the sides thus making maximum extraction of natural resources. Garage for vehicles, support boats, helipad and a large green area of living close the package.

The ship was designed to be inhabited by 500 employees in favor of 160 patients.
