MARS is the Mayflower Autonomous Research Ship that represents the first autonomous, wind- and solar-powered research vessel to sail across the Atlantic Ocean.

It?s being built by Plymouth Univesity, MSubs and Shuttleworth Design, and will have a bunch of cool drones that will enable experimentation during the journey.

MARS is scheduled to cross the Atlantic in 2020.
