Marcelo Penna Yacht Design put together with Marcelo Penna Engineering a design for a trimaran support vessel: Yacht Shadow Vessel 60 ( YVS60 ). The vessel is based on a offshore plateform offering excellent sea keeping capabilities, wide on deck storage with an helipad and a fuel efficient hull. The helipad can host a large Airbus H155 and provide it with safe storage and refuel it. This space can also be turned in a tender storage area, however this space is relatively exposed to the weather. The hull shape offers transatlantic range at high speed. More than this functional capabilities the support vessel can host up to 12 guests and additional crew for the mother ship.
