Since superyachts (and their owners) are migratory creatures that usually follow the sun to exclusive destinations around the world, there?s a certain pattern to their ?behavior.? It?s pretty simple in fact. During the cold and dark of winter in Europe and North America, many of the world?s largest and most outrageous superyachts can be found bopping between exclusive islands in the Caribbean and the South Pacific. And when school is out during the summer up north, the Mediterranean is the place to see and be seen getting out of your helicopter on the deck of your newly commissioned megayacht.

But the best time of year for superyacht shopping is undoubtedly the Fall. This is because boatshow season kicks off in Cannes. Then all of the biggest yachts for sale show off together at recently completed the Monaco Yacht Show. And then the eyes of the superyacht world turn to South Florida for our own annual celebration of the superyacht lifestyle at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show that takes place from November 3-7.

There?s really no other superyacht show quite like the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show in the U.S.. So if you want to get up close and personal with some of the biggest private yachts (and all the other cool stuff superyacht owners have to have) that are for sale this season, Ft. Lauderdale is the place to be in early November. And these are the yachts you?ll definitely want to see.
