The world?s first zero emissions- solar powered boat is nearing completion. The Turkish group Ned Ship and Solarwave have been working for seven years now on the ?Solarwave 62?.

And while other yachts use solar panels for part of their operations, the Solarwave 62' will be the first to run entirely on the sun's rays.

The first model is expected to be ready within the next two months and will have a reported price tag of between $ 2.5 and 3 million.

Each Solarwave 62' will be configured to the owner's wishes and the company believes it will hold its value better than conventional yachts.

Some of its features include three to five guest cabins, depending on the buyer's preference, a retractable sky roof, and an outdoor dining space and sun deck.
