The Fipa Group launched their new generation AB 100 superyacht in April this year. The 30 metre speed demon named Spectre has since undergone a series of successful sea trials where she reached an incredible speed of 52 knots, making this one of the fastest production yachts available today.

Her tremendous speed is derived from three MAN engines each delivering 1900 hp that is coupled with waterjets from MJP. Spectre is capable of cruising at a more manageable speed of 44 knots the shipyard reports.

Her sleek exterior is finished in two tones of silver paint, creating an aggressive appearance that perfectly matches her performance credentials.

A second steering position is located on the flybridge where an L-shaped sofa and two sunbeds can also be found.

The foredeck features two coffee tables, a spacious U-shaped sofa and another comfortable sunbed.

The aft cockpit features a large dining table for eight guests, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining experiences.

The available interior volumes have been maximised through the use of minimalistic furniture, an open plan layout and an abundance of bright surfaces to have guest areas appear even larger.

Below deck Spectre accommodates six guests in an amidships full beam master suite and a further two guests cabins up forward.

Spectre will represent the AB Yachts brand at the 2016 Cannes Yacht Show in September where she will be revealed to the industry for the first time.
