The 33m Perla Nero ran agroung in Croatia, in the Sibenik channel. The accident caused no damage to the environment neither suufered from any human loses or injuries. The owner of the yacht had 5 days to remove it from the channel after the accident. Such a pity for a yacht worth near 5 millions dollars! Built in 2007 in a turkish yard, Cyrus yachts, Perla Nero is made out of composite, for both the hull and superstructure. Accomodating up to 10 guests in luxurious guest rooms refitted recently, in 2010. She was capable of reaching up to 24 knots thanks to her shallow draft of 1.4m. Unfortunately her limited draft did not prevent the accident.
