HOLLAND, MI ? When Bouwkamp Builders and architect Wayne Visbeen collaborated on this house in the Lakeshore Crossings development, they indulged the owner's love of boating by building a bar that resembles an old Chris-Craft yacht.

The bar, which resembles the bow of a wooden speedboat, includes a ceiling salvaged from the salon of "Hey Babe," a 1963 Chris Craft motor yacht that was once berthed on Lake Macatawa. The flooring was designed to resemble the teak and holly planking on a classic yacht.

The shingle-style home at 263 Lakeshore Drive is one of 25 homes that can be toured this weekend and next as part of the Lakeshore Home Builders Association annual Parade of Homes.

The nautical theme extends throughout the lower level, which includes a billiards room, a sitting area for family gatherings and a workout room with an adjoining bathroom that could double as a guest bedroom suite.
