For the superrich, buying a superyacht is just the top of the luxury and status jar.

At the same time, they want to have the most customized experience possible, this is obviously more expensive, but there are a few that can afford the craziest customizations.

According to Sara Gianola, a manager at the Dutch superyacht builder Heesen yachts told Business Insider that the most popular adding in the superrich/ superyacht world are: Waterfalls.

One of the main reasons to have a waterfall in your superyacht is having a closer experience to the water.

But there?s more to it.

It seems that the waterfall serves as a privacy measure, it?s tough for the Paparazzi to get their shots if you?re standing behind a wall of falling water. Which is a real concern for film stars, politicians or royalty.

Another reason why they ask for the waterfalls? They can also be used to project movies onto it.
