Today we’re going to review the Boston Whaler 315 conquest, a fishing machine and pleasure boat that has it all!

Starting with the high-tech Helm Station we’ll find an electronics-mounting surface with space for two 12’’ screens, that you can compliment with the Raymarine C125, 12.1” screens is one of the notable options to compliment this motorboat. It also features a compass, dual level molded-in footrest for better comfort, instrumentation and electrical switch panels with circuit breaker protection.

It also features a Mercury® DTS dual binnacle control, for better cruising and Captain’s storage compartment to make your job easier!

The windshield and hardtop system includes floodlight, dome light and six rod hold holders, an integrated windshield and hardtop, two speakers, stainless steel grab rails along the sides so it’s easier and safer to move, a front windshield with tempered glass and wipers in the port and starboard.

Next to the Helm Station we see a comfortable seat with cushions and adjustable slider, and just in front of it we find a lockable sliding acrylic cabin door that leads to the Main Salon.

The Main Salon is big and comfortable; it features a Mild double berth and a V-berth with filler cushions, a wood dinette table and wood flooring. Next to the berth you’ll find drink holders, and an opening hatch with screen.

In terms of entertainment it has a Stereo – Fusion® AM/FM with CD player, iPod controls, four waterproof speakers, remote control, and MP3 input – cabin and helm with storage all this with 400 watt stereo amplifier!

Finally, it has 4 opening portholes with screens – two to the galley, one to the starboard side and one to the mid berth. Also, to make sure you’re safe, it also includes a carbon monoxide detector.

Inside the Main Salon we also find the vinyl floor Head, with a solid 500 GPH shower sump pump, Corian solid surface countertop, hanging storage and lighting this space is private and comfortable for you and your crew.

It also features a mirror, an opening porthole with screen, shelves and a sink with pressurized water system and a pull out shower storage area. It also has a VacuFlushTM head with holding tank, dockside pump-out and overboard discharge.

One of the best features of this motorboat is its Cockpit; equipped with a 8’’ stainless steel anchor cleat and a 10’’ stainless steel cleat it has more than enough room for your activities. It also features coaming bolsters, stern lifting eyes, a 28’’ interior freeboard, and a shower.

Like many of Boston Whaler’s models it includes a cockpit starboard side preparation center with sink, storage and drink holders!

Again, Boston Whaler keeps surprising us with the effort they put into the comfort of the crew. This center-console motorboat includes a foldaway stern bench seat, Helm seat with cushions and adjustable slider Convertible port seat and lounge area that features, a cooler storage, cup holders, a double wide aft seating and a lounge filler cushion with dedicated storage!

In terms of storage, this compact boat has perfectly optimized storage spaces including: a battery storage, a bow anchor locker with drain, a bow storage lockers under the V-berth, three cabin interior rod racks, storage galley, two in-deck fish boxes with drain and pump-out, port cockpit storage drawers and of course Storage for safety gear including: eight life jackets, flares, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher.

Its hull material is pure fiberglass, which withstands harsh marine environments with ease, with a Deep Vee hull design, which makes it perfect for salt-water fishing because it’s resistant to corrosion and rot.

This Boston Whaler 270 Vantage is powered by two 250 CXL L6 DTS dual Mercury® Verado FourStroke engines with VesselView 7” display and power steering.

It has a L.O.A. of 31’ 3” (9.53 m), a beam of 10’ 8” (3.25 m) and a draft of 20” (0.51 m). Its weight (dry and with no engines) is 8,800 lbs (3,392 kg). It can host up to 14 people, and keep its maximum horsepower of 600 HP (448 kW),

(500 HP is the minimum). Its water capacity is 46 gallons, and its fuel capacity is 291 gal (1,102 L). Its transom height is 25” (0.64 m).
