Since their beginning in 1958, they’ve been crafting amazing center console boats with an innovative premise: boats for a lifetime of enjoyment! Join us in this 2015 Boston Whaler 345 Conquest review by Boat Show Avenue and conquer the ocean with us.
The first thing that we love is how it's nice and spacious lounge area. This 35’ 11” center console boat has the perfect compact size for a comfortable ocean getaway. The console area features one 12-V receptacle, an accent gel coat color to reduce glare and air conditioning vents for defrost and to keep passengers and driver comfortable.
Its electronics mounting surface allows space for two 15,5’’ screens, that accommodates the Mercury SmartCraft Vessel View 7” color LCD Display perfectly. Both the footrest and the compass are completely integrated into the helm. It also provides MP3 inputs to the stereo, dual USB, and 12-V receptacle power for charging accessories!
Its starboard cockpit (or wet bar) features a hinged solid surface lid with a recessed insulated cooler below for safety and comfort. It also has integrated cup holders and storage compartments, next to the pullout drawer storage compartment. Even though it’s a compact space, it includes the cockpit wall with 5 gal pails, a refrigerator/freezer and a sink with hot and cold faucets.
The head is so well distributed and elegant that we decided to call it a Main Salon. With beautiful skylights, the room enlightens with the sunlight. It features a 26” flat screen HDTV with a DVD Player, cabin lights with dimmer switches for a better comfort and stereo remote controls for the cockpit and helm.
The interior materials are easy to clean, and it also features a lockable acrylic cabin door for privacy when you need it.
One of the most innovative points of this Boston Whaler 345 Conquest is its V-berth dinette with high gloss wood table: the table drops with an electrically actuated pedestal and converts automatically into a queen-size island bed!
That bed comes with a fitted sheet, comforter, two regular size pillowcases and throw pillows! To set the right atmosphere, it includes a Fusion AM/FM USB/VHF AUX/iPod/iPhone/Android and Bluetooth SiriusXM® ready marine stereo, with remote controls and MP3 and USB.
The galley is compact and elegant. It includes both 120-V and 12-V receptacles, a cedar like hanging locker, coffeemaker and microwave and a 2.3 cubic feet stainless steel refrigerator. Of course, it also includes a sink with both hot and cold-water faucets.
The head is a perfect size and comfortable, it also features a 120-V receptacle with an amazing 800GPH shower sump. The full-length mirror will allow you and your guests to have a clear look of their new suntans. It also features a skylight so you can take advantage of the clear sunlight during the day. Its VacuFlush toilet has a tank level indicator for safety. One of the best features of the 2015 Boston Whaler 345 Conquest is that despite its compact size, it provides comfortable storage space.
In the Head we can find cabinets in the galley, a hanging locker with light, a mid-berth starboard side storage compartment, four-rod racks, and under starboard settee and v-berth storage compartments. Also, in the cockpit we have even more room to store fishing equipment. We have compartments behind the counter at the wet bar, below the pull-out grill, in the port side helm deck and under the gunnel.
Its hull material is pure fiberglass, which withstands harsh marine environments with ease, with a Deep Vee hull design, which makes it perfect for salt-water fishing because it’s resistant to corrosion and rot. This Boston Whaler 345 Conquest is powered by three 250 CXL L6 DTS triple Mercury® Verado FourStroke engines with SmartCraft VesselView display and power steering!
It has a L.O.A. 35’ 11” (10.95 m) (with pulpit), a centerline of 34’ (10.36 m) (hull only), a beam of 11’ 8” (3.56 m) and a draft of 22” (0.56 m). Its weight (dry and with no engines) is 14,200 lbs (6,441 kg). It can host up to 14 people, and keep its maximum horsepower of 1,050 HP (783 kW) (750 HP is the minimum). It has a water capacity of 45 gallons and a fuel capacity of 400 gallons (1,514.2 L). It’s transom height is 30” (0.76 m) and angle is 15°, its deadrise at transom is 19°. It also has a water capacity of 45 gal (170.3 L).
