Zeelander Yachts was founded in 2002 in the province of Zeeland, The Netherlands by a passionate yachtsman, Sietse Koopmans. Proud of it’s Dutch heritage, Zeelander prides itself in the constant pursuit of perfection in terms of innovative engineering, design and unsurpassable quality.
The dream emerged to build perfect semi-custom yachts, designed and developed with drive and passion. Zeelander crafted a list of ambitious characteristics to incorporate into the development of all its yachts; great sea keeping, timeless design, low noise levels and reduced vibrations, minimal maintenance, low cost of ownership, easy handling and constructed to last with quality materials and superior finishes.
Together with the award-winning designer Cor D. Rover, the Zeelander team pushed the boundaries of yacht design through innovative and revolutionary engineering to build the first Zeelander. The Z44 was debuted to critical acclaim at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2008.
In 2011 with a mission to discover the best possible build facilities, the production of the Z44 moved to Holland, Michigan and the yachts were successfully introduced to the US market.
