Let’s start at the deck. There's a teak laid transom platform, cockpit deck, flybridge stairway and stairs to side decks which will allow you to move from space to space easily and safely. It also features a reversible electric anchor winch with foredeck, helm position and flybridge control with self-stowing 25kg/55lbs Delta anchor with 40m of chain. Of course, as most Princess’ models, it also includes stainless-steel cleats, fairleads, handrails and a dual station remote control searchlight.
The cockpit is a comfortable and luxurious space. It features U-shaped seating with a teak table for nice dinners out at sea.
There is locker housing with a 240V support inlet, a lockable gas strut assisted hatch to the engine room and twin transom gates leading to the bathing platform. The cockpit cover is there to keep it safe and protect it from the sun when you’re not using it.
Next; the Helm Station. With dual instrumentation, controls and alarm system including VHF/RT, speed and distance log, echo sounder with alarm and autopilot you can feel empowered and safe while cruising. It features twin helm seats with fore and aft adjustment for comfortable cruising, full engine instrumentation including fuel gauges, exhaust temperature and an engine warning system and rudder position indicator, navigation system including VHF/RT, speed and distance log, echo sounder with alarm, autopilot, high speed magnetic compass, controls with indicator for bow thruster, windscreen wipers, bilge pump and trim tabs.
It has a chart table with light and chart stowage, 24v and 220/240v electrical control panels, a black mesh sunscreen, a 12v outlet, and red night lighting for safety purposes
Next to the Helm Station is the Flybridge, a great space to hang out with your crew or family. In terms of comfort, there is a large seating area with a teak table and an L-shaped seat that converts to a sunbed for your convenience. Loudspeakers linked to the saloon stereo, a wet bar including a sink, electric barbecue, and refrigerated cooler box are there too for your convenience!
The Deck Saloon or Saloon features a U-shaped sofa, a coffee table, and a two-seater sofa to port with a stereo/MP3 player with speakers. This space also features sideboard units with a refrigerator and glass, bottle and general storage, a 46” LED TV with electric raise/lower mechanism, and a dining area with U-shaped seating and 2 additional stools (to seat 6 in total).
The Galley features a 3-zone ceramic hob, a hob extractor and a waste bin for safety. A combination microwave and conventional oven with an electric grill are available along with the stainless-steel sink with a monobloc mixer tap. This space also includes a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a chopping board, and provision space for a dishwasher and additional refrigerator.
Now let’s explore each Cabin. The Owner’s Cabin features a large double bed with drawers below, a wardrobe with shelves, a dressing table, MP3 radio, overhead and individual berth lights and an en-suite bathroom.
The Forward Guest Cabin includes a large double bed with drawers below, wardrobe with shelves, a vanity unit, storage lockers and drawers, overhead and individual berth lights, deck hatch with fly screen and blinds, and an en-suite bathroom with day access. The Starboard Guest Cabin has two full-size single beds, wardrobe with shelf, storage lockers and an overhead and individual berth.
There’s an optional Aft Cabin, with single berth, storage space, overhead and individual berth light and an electric quiet flush toilet and washbasin.
All cabins feature opening portholes and 220/240v power points, all mattresses are pocket sprung. The bathrooms also have full shower stalls, electric quiet flush toilets, extractor fans and 240v shaver points.
For the furniture, you can choose between Serotina Cherry and Light Oak with satin or high gloss finish. American Walnut or Rovere Oak are also available as options. All the worktops and tiled floors in all bathrooms are made in avonite, the same with the galley worktop and timber-laid floor. There are curtain, blinds or sunscreens on all windows and portholes.
This Princess 56 is powered by two Twin Caterpillar C12 A (2 x 715mhp) or you can choose the optional Twin Volvo D13-800 (2 x 800mhp)
Its power and drive system features 4-bladed propellers in nickel aluminum bronze, a power-assisted electro-hydraulic steering system with hydraulic backup, an electronic engine and gear shift controls, an engine room extractor fan and dripless shaft seals.
Its fuel system includes fuel tanks (in NS8 marine grade alloy) with interconnection system giving 582 gal/699 US gal/ 2,650l capacity and fuel fillers on port and starboard side decks. And its water system consists of 114 gal/137 US gal/520l plus 16 gal/19 US gal/73l hot water calorifier, heated by engines and 240v immersion heater, automatic or manual override fire extinguishers in engine room with warning system at both helm positions and four hand-operated fire extinguishers in forward stateroom, starboard cabin, galley and lower helm.
Its hull material is pure fiberglass, which withstands harsh marine environments with ease!
It has a L.O.A. of 59ft 5in (18.11m) a beam of 15ft 7in (4.76m) and a draft 4ft 3in (1.29m). Its fuel capacity is 582 gal/699 US gal/2,650l and its water capacity is 130 gal/156 US gal/592l.
