Pershing has been designing, producing and marketing luxury open motor yachts for almost 30 years, becoming one of the leading brands in the Made in Italy fibreglass open yacht sector. The Pershing range stands out for its superior performance, continuous stylistic development, top quality materials and painstakingly designed interiors that offer ultimate comfort. Advanced construction methods, powerful engines reaching 7400 MHP and the use of surface propellers, hydrojets and gas turbines all combine to give Pershing yachts a distinctively sporting trim and up to 50 knot peak speeds.

Passion, creativity and continuous search for innovation have always been the primary values of Pershing's philosophy, qualities that have been growing up with the brand since the beginning. Pershing boasts a fascinating story, triggered by the lucky intuition of three friends with a deep passion for boating. Tilli Antonelli, Fausto Filippetti, and Giuliano Onori set out on this exciting adventure in 1981, combining fun with passion and initiative. The Cantiere Navale dell'Adriatico was founded the same year, and the first boat was launched. Four years later, in 1985, they met the Yacht Designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Pershing idea came into being. Thus, the first Pershing 45' was designed, an incredibly successful open yacht, featuring unprecedented standards of comfort and privacy that had hitherto been the exclusive domain of classic motor yachts. The early 1990s marked a turning point for the shipyard, as it began an inspired policy of internationalization towards Mediterranean countries, the United States and the Far East. In 1998, the company joined the Ferretti Group, a world leader in the design, construction and marketing of luxury motor yachts, and this wonderful adventure continued with new perspectives, but with the same enthusiasm out of its origins.

The Italian brand launched many innovative models along the years, confirming its leadership. 2012 marks the beginning of a new era for Pershing: the Group underwent a huge restructuring phase, at the end of which Shandong Heavy Group, Weichai Group, one of the largest manufacturers of high-speed diesel engines in the PRC and the leading company in the power chain market, acquired the 75% interest in Ferretti Group. A strategic partnership that represents the beginning of a further international breakthrough for the brand and the Group, providing financial soundness and the necessary resources to get new distribution channels and expand more effectively in the new emerging markets, enhancing the sales channel and the after-sales service, with the aim to further consolidate its leadership position in the global market for luxury yachts.

Pershing yachts are produced in the Mondolfo shipyard (located right in front of the original yard), a futuristic site of 53,000 square metres, out of which more than 36,000 are open air - designed by the architect Sandro Sartini. This is not just a production site: this is a striking scenario, which perfectly matches beauty, technology, functionality, and dream, a space painstakingly designed for enhancing the continuous development of the range, also in terms of yacht sizes.

The new production site features a large and innovative painting booth of 4400 sq. m, where boats are dry painted. The test basin (33 m long, 7.5 m wide and 2.3 m deep) is used for all hydraulic tests (engines, exhausts, bilges, and generators) and for waterproofing tests of yachts. The travel lift, with a carrying capacity of 130 tons, completes activities with ship haulage and launching in the test basin.

The brand is in constant search for new ideas and new paths for a further international growth. Pershing stands out for its capacity to customize its models according to the different needs of any new market worldwide.
